I wish there was more involvement in the homeless or single mothers w/children. I have two kids and I have know where to go after december. my parents let me stay here but i have to be out by the end of the month because my dad is the only one working right now since my mom got in a accinent. I work but i only get 20 hrs for now i try to stay late at work. My childrens father can't move back down here till i get a place. but there is no help and i will not stay in a homeless shelter with my children. They need a home not a shelter. How is someone suppose to get back on there feet when there is no help????

I was referred to your church by my Family Nurse Practictioner. She also provided me with your web-site address. So far, it looks like a warm environment. I was referred to your House because I am a single mother of a seventeen month old, and I have no family, and only one active friend in this community. PS. You may also contact me at work: Stacy.Nichols@med.va.gov Thank you. Anyway, I am interested in visiting your House with my daughter, Johanna. Your service, I believe, is at 1030am. How many persons typically join in on the Sunday morning service? Thank you, Stacy

Hello, from an old friend who at times didn't act like a friend to many people. Hello, from someone who has come to terms with his mental illness, substance abuse, and poor selfish behavior. Time and distance may never heal some scares and wounds but at this time of year I wanted to stop what I was doing simply to say...hello. I think God for my life, and my sanity both have been through a lot of miles, and there are some paths that I can never return to. There are some roads I will never travel again because the pain is more than either of us can bear. However, it helps to stop and say hello. Learning to live and not simply float from one year to the next. Learning to listen to other voices besides my own. Learning to care about the wonder of life, and getting on with mine. I just wanted to say hello, and now I can say goodbye in a nicer way than I did four years ago. Give a hug to Kathy, Karl, Michael, Ed, and many others. Mental health and spirtual peace to everyone who touched my life. Steven Smith, a proud child of God.

I am very impressed with the diverse programs you offer. There are several activities I hope to become involved in. Soon I will be equally distant from Cheyenne, Laramie, and Ft Collins, and I have just checked out the web site of each congregation. I expect to be seeing you soon! :-) This looks like a vital and alive community. Verna

I received this link from a friend in Greeley, CO who attends one of your churches down there. I'm happy to have found you. I'm having a hard time finding a place for me and my girls (ages 4, 5, & 7). We've tried other churches, but I'm tired of them learning that they are inherently sinful and they have to 'prove' themselves. I don't want them learning that. I also don't like that they are learning that they are 'better' then others. I feel that all are equal no matter whether they believe in God or whether they are different. I'm looking forward to visiting your church this Sunday to look around and get more information. Their father has the girls this weekend so I'll come alone and check it out. Thank you for the work you're doing and the thoughts and feelings you are trying to share with others. I'm excited about the possiblities your church may offer us. Lisa

WOW!I needed to contact John and Luanne today and came to this website and suddenly realised just how MUCH I miss you all and Cheyenne. I also found my personalized name tag just 2 days ago. I sit here crying with homesickness for my church and 'home' of Cheyenne! I see that you are one again in a state of transition but, well, isn't that what life is all about? The Celestine Prophecy is actually what brought me to the site and to the search for John and Luanne today so... We (Phil and I) miss you all even though this is a very nice church, Albuquerque is definitely NOT Cheyenne!! Love and Peace to you alll on this 4th of July, 2006.. sb

Hi, I love the quality and variety of information on the website. Great job so far! My only suggestion for improvement would be to keep the "events" and "programs" sections CURRENT (it is now August, and there are still April and May events listed, yikes!) I think it's important for visitors to be able to easily find upcoming events, and current info about ongoing groups and programs, not just in the calendar section, but in the "events" and "programs" sections as well. Hmmm, how about a link to the webmaster, so that organizers of events can easily submit info on events and programs...?

Thank you for your suggestion! I'll try to come up with a procedure to cover news and events submissions. Right now I have to rely on what is submitted to our print publication and work with it from there. Because the Focus takes a sabattical for a month in August, we got behind. Look for a more up-to-date web site soon!

I was checking out your site to get a little more information about your church and services. I have been trying to find a church that I could attend that wiyld be welcoming and diverse. From what i have read and heard this seems like the best one yet. I like diversity and a place that is welcoming to all, and lets face it a majority of churches in cheyenne are not very welcoming to outsiders. Hope to see and meet with many of you on Sunday Morning!

Just wanted to tell you how much I liked your website and the article about your interim minister, Ms. Bunyard. I was referred to the site by Spokane's Unitarian fellowship who have called Ms. Bunyard to be their interim. I attend the Spokane UU only very occasionally as I am a member of a very small fellowship called Highland UU in the town of Kettle Falls, WA. We have an active and caring group and although, we don't have a minister, we take turns signing up for adult message & children's activities. We recently built a labyrinth, celebrated Beltane with a Maypole and had great food & fellowship!
