CHEYENNE INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK (CIHN)--Marci Linde, Allison James, and Jim Gaulke would like to thank the congregation for its generosity to the Sunday December 21 special offering to support the CIHN program. This special offering from UUCC exceeded $500! THANK YOU! The next Cheyenne Interfaith Hospitality Network (CIHN) rotation at UUCC will be the week of January 4 to January 11. There is still a need for volunteers to provide evening meals, evening hosts, overnight hosts, and help with setting up and taking down the accommodations. As you may know, the Islamic Center has joined the CIHN program and has graciously offered to partner with UUCC during our rotations. For the January rotation they will provide dinners on Sunday 1-4, Tuesday 1-6, and Saturday 1-10. In addition, they have offered to be the evening host on Saturday January 10. We welcome them to the CIHN and look forward to working with them in the future. Please check the CIHN board in the Social Hall and assist with hosting opportunities for the January rotation. Call Jim Gaulke at 630-1782 or Marci Linde at 778-0742 for more information. Thanks to all.
FOCUS MAILING PARTY--If you would like to help get the FOCUS, the monthly UUCC newsletter ready to mail, please join other volunteers this Wednesday, December 31, at noon in the church library. It takes about an hour and a pizza lunch follows for everyone who helps out.
