Please remember, if you need to schedule a meeting on Zoom, please email administrator@uucheyenne.org to schedule use of the congregation’s Zoom. As a reminder, Tamra is in the physical office on Wednesdays and Sundays, and also working remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please leave enough time for your meeting to get scheduled.
- If you are leading a meeting on Zoom, you will need to get the Host Key from Tamra in order to claim your role as the meeting host. You can go to this YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=820HxmviHfA and watch the first minute and a half to see how to use the claim host function on Zoom.

Sunday Mornings with UU Cheyenne
This Sunday, July 19th
God Unbound
Do other people’s ideas about God make you cringe? What if the divine could be unbound from some of those restrictive definitions? Join us as we explore how we can come to know the divine in a distinctly Unitarian Universalist way.
Join us in our usual Zoom room {link below} at 10 am MDT for fellowship and an opportunity to hear from reps from Beth El Ministries, our Share the Plate partner for the month of July.

sUUmer Creating Sabbath Space – an independent UU enrichment program for the whole congregation.
Please indicate if you and/or your family would like to participate. No fees are involved, and everything can be done in your own home, no classroom groups needed. It’s all on Zoom, youtube, and via email/snail mail. Please sign up by July 15 so we have enough supplies.

Join us – Creating Sabbath Space – by Soul Matters – a once a week, 6-week program rooted in UU values.
In times of uncertainty and isolation, it’s even more important that we create space in our lives for…. worship, rest, and connection. Right now, it’s tough to feel connected. Luckily, our friends over at Soul Matters have created a program to help UU’s across our country do just that.
Your UUCC Faith Development team is excited to offer the “Creating Sabbath Space” 6-week program this summer. This program will walk us through building a home alter in UU and other traditions and share tips on how you might use your home alter in celebrations throughout the year. We’ll share stories of our families’ experiences, and pictures of us creating throughout the program.
Program dates are the weeks of July 19th – Aug 23rd. Depending on our group size, we may split into a few smaller groups. Even if you aren’t able to participate with us LIVE, we’d still love for you to join us.
There will be an information/activity playlist and packets sent out at the beginning of each week, and you are welcome to join along where you are able. We’ll have chances to share on our FD Facebook page and in our UUCC weekly newsletter. Do only what you feel moved to do. No pressure. Come and connect outside of Sunday worship service. We’re going to be as flexible as possible.
If you have a specific need, please email Mary Scherden DFD at DFD@uucheyenne.org to answer or help with further questions.

New UUCC Ministry!
Adopting a Segment of Crow Creek for Cleanup
New UUCC Ministry!
Adoption of a Segment of Crow Creek for Cleanup
UUCC has adopted for cleanup the segment of Crow Creek that runs through Martin Luther King Park between 19th St. and Lincolnway and Missile Drive and Dey Ave. Our next cleanup is scheduled for Sunday, June 28 at 7:00 p.m. We meet in the parking lot south of the softball field off of Ames, near the Habitat Restore. We generally work just over an hour and fill one large trash bag per person.
Participants are encouraged to wear long pants and long sleeved shirts (the vegetation is knee high and can be pokey) and suitable shoes (Mike and Kathy wear muck boots, but there is plenty of cleanup that does not involve getting wet). A tool of some sort, such as a hoe or pitchfork, is helpful for snagging trash in the creek.
The city of Cheyenne requires all of those who participate in the cleanup to sign an Assumption of Risk, Waiver & Release form. Folks are not allowed to participate unless they sign the form. Mike and Kathy will bring forms for those who wish to participate to the cleanup location on the scheduled date. Mike and Kathy will also provide trash bags to all participants.
Kids under 14 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Important! Please Read!
We have been experiencing a growing issue with peanut residue in the building, especially in the library. Please, do not bring peanut products into the building, and if your little ones enjoy their peanut butter snacks before coming, please be sure their hands are clean before they touch surfaces used by everyone. We are seeing almost daily allergic reactions, so we ask you to please be diligent. It may be an inconvenience to you, but it can be life-threatening to those who are allergic.
