Kelly Hill had hip replacement surgery on September 5th. She is needing assistance at home with tasks such as laundry, cooking, and possibly other basic hygiene related things; she will also need transportation to physical therapy and possibly to work (once she is able to work), and she has expressed a desire for transportation to Sunday Services at UUCC after her first complete week of recovery. Please contact her directly at 303-834-0394 if you are able to help or just offer encouragement. Even the smallest things can be very helpful! Kelly has asked asked that we express deep gratitude on her behalf for any support she is able to receive. Many, many thanks!!!

Important! Please Read!
We have been experiencing a growing issue with peanut residue in the building, especially in the library. Please, do not bring peanut products into the building, and if your little ones enjoy their peanut butter snacks before coming, please be sure their hands are clean before they touch surfaces used by everyone. We are seeing almost daily allergic reactions, so we ask you to please be diligent. It may be an inconvenience to you, but it can be life-threatening to those who are allergic.

Registration – Faith Development
2019-20 Faith Development Registration is open now! All youth ages 6 months to 18+ need to be registered with our Faith Development Department to attend classes. Please stop by the registration table in the Social Hall during this weeks (Sept 8th) Pot Luck to register or signup right here online at https://tinyurl.com/UUCC2019FDRegistration
Full Faith Development classes Start Sept 15th.
Spirit Play ages (3yrs – 3rd grade) – One parent and care givers/gaurdian is asked to attend the first Spirit Play class with their child/youth to get acquainted with the new classroom and procedures.
Harry and UU (3rd grade – adult) – Get ready for some fun as we join Dumbledore’s Army and fight Horcruxes all year long! It’s going to be a blast… wait till you see our Harry Potter classroom!!! Come join the fun!
Families of 3rd graders – The Faith Development team learned that we have lots of 3rd grade youth who really would like to have a choice of what class they attend this year. Since we’re starting off our very first Spirit Play classroom, we’d love to have the youth attend in Spirit Play, but we realize the excitement around the Harry Potter curriculum is overwhelming great. If your 3rd grader would like to attend the Harry and UU class, they are welcome to check them out. Our 3rd grade youth will have the choice of attending either the classrooms this year.
Have fun and find your inner wizard if you’d like! OR come hang our with the younger crowd. We’ll explore all kinds of faith based UU stories and traditions through our Spirit Play curriculum. More about each curriculum can be found here.
