The newsletter is published every Wednesday at noon, so submissions must be received by 10am Tuesday morning to be in that week’s newsletter.

Faith Development December Highlights –
Regular Service schedule:
10 – 11:15am Nursery available for young children birth – pre 1st grade.
11:15 – 12:15 2nd Hour Programming
1st Sunday of each month is a Maker Space- All ages meet together in the Rainbow room (Please drop your youth off downstairs after service and sign them into class. After class, please retrieve your youth following classes at 12:15 and be sure to sign them out.)
Other Sundays (except potluck Sundays)
11:15 – 12:15 Harry and UU Faith Development classes – Downstairs (ages 4th grade – 12th grade)
Spirit Play classes – Downstairs (ages 3 years to 3rd grade)

The Service Auction will be here in Saturday!!
WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF ITEMS and/or SERVICES for a great auction.
I know many of us like to wait until the last moment to turn in our donation forms, but this is the last moment. For those of you who like to see Joe squirm, I want you to know it is working. This is the UUCC Church’s largest fund-raising event, and we need it to be successful.
We need your GREAT AUCTIONS ITEMS, PARTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND DINNERS to make it successful.
Please plan to attend on Feb. 1, starting around 5:00 p.m.
For this to succeed, you need to help. There are many ways to help other than donating items.
There are sign up sheets on the sideboard for the following:
- appetizers
- dessert
- salad
- rolls or breads
- soups, chili and stews
Food not your thing? There are sign up sheets for Set Up on Jan 31 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Feb 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and a separate sign up for Tear Down after the auction is over on Sat night.

Important! Please Read!
We have been experiencing a growing issue with peanut residue in the building, especially in the library. Please, do not bring peanut products into the building, and if your little ones enjoy their peanut butter snacks before coming, please be sure their hands are clean before they touch surfaces used by everyone. We are seeing almost daily allergic reactions, so we ask you to please be diligent. It may be an inconvenience to you, but it can be life-threatening to those who are allergic.

The District Reconsideration Committee has reviewed the graphic novel Drama, by Rain Telgemeir, and will provide findings and recommendations. Public comments are welcome.
If you are not familiar with the graphic novel in question, it deals with LGBTQ issues. Given the recent history of the district in regards to this, it may be that some may want to attend this meeting to see what the district is putting forth.

Timeline for the Evening:
5:00-6:00: Social Hour with Appetizers
5:30-6:00: Kids Dinner
5:45-6:45: Dinner ($6.00 per person)
6:15-6:45: LIVE ENTERTAINMENT
7:00-9:00: THE AUCTION
We get revved up and have a good time. There are lots of one-of-a-kind items with all the proceeds going to support the Church. This year we will be accepting CREDIT CARDS. We will also have very talented LIVE ENTERTAINMENT! Karla Moore and her sister Ronnie have offered to perform for us.
It is a family night with FREE childcare provided, including a free dinner for the kids starting at 5:30 (children’s dinner is served in the childcare area, any child wishing to eat upstairs must have a ticket).
The Dinner (soups, chilis, breads, salads, desserts, and beverages) for adults is only $6 per individual. There are great personal connections that come out of the Auction — dinners, personal services, fun gatherings, group trips, etc.
COME! BE A PART OF THE FUN! Everyone is welcomed!

These are real stories that happened here in Wyoming. We will be turning these letters into videos that we will use to make at least 3 call to action videos. These calls to action will support the Immigrants rights campaign and the work happening here in Wyoming.
If you have been unsure how you can be part of the proactive fight for immigrant justice in Wyoming this is your chance. At this event, you will also be able to learn about all the things the ACLU of Wyoming and Juntos are working on.
If you would like to take part in this video project or for more info please reach out to Antonio Serrano at (307)256-4059 / aserrano@aclu.org, and he will provide you with the scripts you will need to review.

General Assembly is the annual gathering of Unitarian Universalists for conducting business of the Association, exploring the theological underpinnings of our faith, and leaning fully into our mission and principles. Please join us Wednesday, June 24 through Sunday, June 28, 2020 in Providence, Rhode Island for this 5-day immersive experience themed Rooted, Inspired & Ready! Join your faith family at inspirational worship services, informative workshops and a bustling exhibit hall. We anticipate that 4,500+ UUs will gather for this unforgettable experience and leave with renewed energy and innovative ideas for congregational and community engagement.

Registration is Now Open!
Registration is now open at uua.org/ga/registration. Full-time registration is $400 for adults, $250 for high school youth and retired and candidate ministers, $150 for off-site registrants. Early bird registration is now through March 15, 2020. Rates increase on March 16th.
