Why does our congregation matter in the world? How can we live out that calling as people in community? Each of us brings our own unique piece and contribution to this mission and congregation, and those pieces create something more beautiful than any of us could create alone. Join us this Sunday as we explore our new proposed mission statement in worship and kick off our annual Living Generously campaign! Be sure to stay for lunch (it’s provided!) after the service to dig deeper and learn more about how we can support UUCC together.

There will be no Second Hour Classes this week as we will be kicking off our Annual Living Generously Pledge Drive with a luncheon.

Please join us!

All are welcome!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Registration is due by March 1st. If you’d like to attend this Con email Mary Scherden ASAP. A planning meeting will be held on March 8th at 12:15pm in the High School Room in the church basement at UUCC.
Our Wiggle Space is provided by UUCC’s Faith Development Team and can be found in the front of the sanctuary, to the left of the altar.  Please encourage your wiggler to quietly explore the items on the selves during service. Children may sit on the rug and play, bring an item back to the pew to use with their caregiver, or use the small table for coloring/writing. Please, stay close by your child (first few pew rows on the left side) so you’re more able to help your child if the need arises. Hand sanitizer and tissues are provided for your convenience. Please contact Mary Scherden DFD, for assistance with our Wiggle Space.

Don’t forget to return the pencil bag, with all the items inside, back to the basket for use again next week.

!!!!!CHOKING HAZARD – Pencil bags are better suited for older youth (8) to adult. Please use care when using the items inside.!!!!!
Not sure what Circle Dinners are? The original structure was that interested church members (and their families) would meet in groups of 6-10 people, either at someone’s home or a specified location (such as the church), once a month to socialize. The mission of this ministry was to get to know others in a more intentional and intimate way, to learn about each other and find common ground in order to strengthen our community.

Generally, the host would provide the main dish and non-alcoholic beverages, and the guests would bring side dishes, desserts, and other beverages, if so desired and agreed on. Hosting would rotate through the group, so everyone had the opportunity to host.

Luanne Gearheart is heading this information gathering, so if you are not inclined to do an online survey, please feel free to contact her with your feedback on this topic! Her email is tatahatso@bresnan.net, or you can call 307- 630- 3763.

BTW the survey is very short, really it’s just one question. It’ll only take a moment.  Thank you!!

Important! Please Read!

We have been experiencing a growing issue with peanut residue in the building, especially in the library.  Please, do not bring peanut products into the building, and if your little ones enjoy their peanut butter snacks before coming, please be sure their hands are clean before they touch surfaces used by everyone.  We are seeing almost daily allergic reactions, so we ask you to please be diligent. It may be an inconvenience to you, but it can be life-threatening to those who are allergic.

The UUA is committed to the goal of making GA accessible to as many attendees as possible. Go to uua.org/ga to learn about scholarships to support participation – particularly of those from marginalized groups – and volunteer opportunities (work in exchange for registration). The UUA is committed to addressing the inclusion of all people, whatever their abilities might be, in all GA activities. Beyond the physical accessibility of the facilities we use – ramps, captioning, seating cut-outs, etc.- we endeavor to take the next step: to truly welcome people with disabilities into every facet of GA.
