Beyond Time and Space

It is easy to forget in the rushing days of our lives, that progress means that we have the accumulation of more inventions and ideas, but not that we are necessarily smarter than those who have come before. Today, join us in a celebration and examination of some past thinkers and religious ancestors who have brought their trust in humanity forth and set us on new courses.Preacher – Reverend Elizabeth Mount All are welcome!

For all Sunday Service connection information please scroll down

Reverend Elizabeth will be teaching a UU History class, 3 sessions, beginning April 6, 2023.
You can attend on Zoom or in person in the church’s library

Coffee Hour needs Volunteers
Nobody wants to miss out on coffee and treats!
Sign up sheets are on the round table in the lobby.
Please add your name to the Coffee hour set up or clean up schedule.
If the date you choose ends up not working out for you to come early or stay late, you can easily cancel or switch dates by contacting  Jan at administrator@uucheyenne.org,or Kayla.
Or, if you would like a predictable schedule, let Jan or Kayla know you can make coffee every third Sunday or want to take down tables one Sunday a month. We can put that in a regular slot for you and our Realm system will send you a handy Friday reminder to your email whenever it’s your turn!
Please sign up at least once each quarter so everyone has an opportunity to volunteer

Thank you!

The next COMEA Dinner Party will be April 22, 2023.

If you’re curious about what it means to be a delegate and how to become one, allow UUA Secretary Bill Young and Co-Financial Advisor Chris Chepel to tell you more about what to expect as a delegate and how to approach the possibility in your congregation.

Only certified member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) may be represented by voting delegates to GA.

Realm Training
Realm trainings are scheduled for April 9 and 10, 2023 in the library at 11:15 for approximately thirty minutes with gene heater.
This new platform is designed for all UUCC members and guests. Realm is a platform designed to keep us informed and to effectively communicate what is going on at UUCC. The design is user friendly with an eye toward specific details regarding committees, various schedules, church events, and overall general news. Please join Gene at one of the upcoming trainings to increase your proficiency and ease with this amazing tool.
 *******************************

The Realm Implementation Team and the Policies and Procedures Team often run into questions regarding the administration of the church that they would like to receive guidance on. The team would like to have a group of people with experience and/or interest in administration, church leadership, policy making, human resources, organizational development, or anything along those lines to help in creating an effective church administrative system.

The idea is not to meet on a regular basis but to confer on issues as they arise via email or Realm chat with an occasional in-person or Zoom meeting as necessary. If you have any interest in helping the church meet this challenge, please contact Gene Heater.  His contact information is in Realm or can be obtained from Jan.
