The High School Youth Group is collecting socks for the homeless through the month of October. Please donate new or gently used (clean) socks to the box in the lobby of the church.

Delicious Spaghetti Dinner!

Sunday October 28th, 11:45 am (after Sunday Service)

Suggested donation of $5 per person or $20 per family

Donations will be collected as you leave. Please feel free to join us even if you can’t donate to our Fundraiser (your presence and friendship is gift enough)!!! Volunteers are needed to help clean up after the dinner (lunch). Please contact Mary at 307-220-2096 or Sara at 307-286-5696 for more information.

On your Sunday (assigned by last name), please do one or more of the following:

  • come early to help set up the coffee,
  • bring a tray of prepared finger foods (and remember to take your tray and any leftover food home with you),
  • or linger to help with cleanup!

Do you need to submit an announcement for the weekly e-mail, UUCC This Week and Beyond… ?

  1. Submission deadline is Tuesday before 10 am.
  2. Please submit announcements to administrator@uucheyenne.org.
  3. Announcements on CD or hand-written/typed announcements should be delivered or mailed to the office and received by the due date.
  4. E-mail announcements are usually then included in the next Sunday order of service.
  5. Please remember that not all members/friends have or use email.
  6. If you are not receiving the weekly e-mail announcements, contact the office.

Do you need to submit an announcement for the Sunday service?

  1. Submission deadline is Sunday 10am to be read at the beginning of service.
  2. Please submit typed or hand-written announcements to the mailbox labeled Announcements in the hallway of the church.
  3. Announcements are then usually included in the next weekly e-mail.
CHURCH NOTICE:

We have posted signs up around the church a number of times but again we must stress the importance of NOT bringing any peanuts or foods with peanuts in them into the building at all. We have a member of our congregation that has a deathly allergy to peanuts and anything with peanuts in them. When this member discovers there are peanuts in the building, they have to leave immediately. This means that they miss out on our various activities or meetings that they need to be at.  The allergy is critical and we DO NOT want to alienate this member or any others who have this allergy. PLEASE, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! that we cannot allow peanuts into the building. (If you are bringing in a packaged item, please try to check that it wasn’t manufactured in a facility that processes anything with peanuts.)
