Suggested donation of $5 per person or $20 per family
Donations will be collected as you leave. Please feel free to join us even if you can’t donate to our Fundraiser (your presence and friendship is gift enough)!!! It’s #socktober!
The High School Youth Group is collecting socks for the homeless through the month of October. Please donate new or gently used (clean) socks to the box in the lobby of the church.

Halloween Carnival
Please join Fun & Fellowship for our annual Halloween Carnival on Wednesday October 31 from 3-5 PM in the Social Hall! We will have food, gams, prizes, and of course our traditional cake walk!

Attention HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!
Join us for food, fun, and games. No cost to attend.
Pizza and Game Night at UUCC for all high school students and their families. Pizza, salad and beverages will be served. Bring a dessert item to share, if you are able. No nuts please (because of allergies).
If you can, please bring food drive items that will be donated to Cheyenne Junior and Senior High Schools to help families over the Thanksgiving break.
Suggestions for food drive items include: mac&cheese, ramen noodles, applesauce, crackers, chips, cans of soup, spaghetti o’s, and any other teenager favorite food item.
REMINDER – Please join the UUCC High School Facebook page and the UUCC Middle School Youth Group Facebook pages to keep informed on what’s happening at UUCC with our teens! |

It’s a Baby Shower!
Celebrate their coming baby with Rev. Hannah and Katherine! A baby shower will be held November 18 after the service, concurrently with the Church’s Thanksgiving Dinner. If you are wondering what Rev. Hannah and Katherine would like to have, please check their registry.

Our next Family Promise hosting week is November 4–11, 3 weeks away!
Right now we have a single family of seven! There will be a mom, 3 teenagers and a pre-teen, and two younger school-aged children. I expect they will have hearty appetites so you may want to go in with another person on preparing dinners. I will keep you updated. One of the children has an egg allergy. The white board in the social hall is ready for sign-up, or you can email Carol Bowles and give your preferred time slot. |

Do you need to submit an announcement for the weekly e-mail, UUCC This Week and Beyond… ?
- Submission deadline is Tuesday before 10 AM.
- Please submit announcements to administrator@uucheyenne.org.
- Announcements on CD or hand-written/typed announcements should be delivered or mailed to the office and received by the due date.
- E-mail announcements are usually then included in the next Sunday order of service.
- Please remember that not all members/friends have or use email.
- If you are not receiving the weekly e-mail announcements, contact the office.

 CHURCH NOTICE:
We have posted signs up around the church a number of times but again we must stress the importance of NOT bringing any peanuts or foods with peanuts in them into the building at all. We have a member of our congregation that has a deathly allergy to peanuts and anything with peanuts in them. When this member discovers there are peanuts in the building, they have to leave immediately. This means that they miss out on our various activities or meetings that they need to attend. The allergy is critical and we DO NOT want to alienate this member or any others who have this allergy. PLEASE, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! that we cannot allow peanuts into the building. (If you are bringing in a packaged item, please try to check that it wasn’t manufactured in a facility that processes anything with peanuts.)
